FRONTIER X FOR REMOTE CARDIAC CARE

FRONTIER X FOR REMOTE CARDIAC CARE

Until now, monitoring your patient’s cardiac status at home or during exercise required complex devices, chest preparation, patches, wires, and a physical visit to the hospital to get their data analyzed.

Frontier X continuously monitors your patient's cardiac and respiratory health and provides them with real- time feedback with on-board vibration alerts and as well as a way for you to access their ECG, vitals and activity remotely.

CASE REPORTS

Case Report 1

Frontier X identified symptomatic paroxysmal Atrial fibrillation. A 94 year old male with known coronary artery disease, hypertension post PCI presented with new onset palpitation. He recorded a 24 hour recording in which the Frontier X AI arrhythmia detection algorithm delineated sections of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation which coincided with periods of the reported symptoms.

On discovery of symptomatic paroxysmal A-fib, low-dose anticoagulant was added and beta-blocker dose was modified.

Case Report 2

Frontier X identified symptomatic paroxysmal NSVT during activity. A 52 year old male with known Coronary artery disease, presented with chest discomfort and recurrent palpitations was assessed at a NYC emergency dept and found to have normal ECG at triage and negative cardiac troponins.

Frontier X report was reviewed by a cardiac electrophysiologist and the patient was advised overnight telemetry monitoring confirming Frontier X findings and patient was prescribed a low dose beta-blocker for symptomatic Ventricular arrhythmia.

Case Report 3

Frontier X identified symptomatic A-fib with episodic VT at increased exercise intensity. An 85 year old woman with known paroxysmal atrial fibrillation reported breathless and dizziness during exercise. She could not attend OPD visit due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Frontier X was used to understand and guide rate and rhythm control therapy as well as appropriate exercise intensity prescription in the absence of hospital access.

Case Report 4

Frontier X spot check ECG report was generated and shared with a local physician who identified myocardial ischaemia evidenced by significant ST-segment depression. A 59 year old woman presented with sudden onset vague arm pain and shortness of breath. She was unsure whether to visit the emergency department due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Frontier X report was reviewed by a cardiac electrophysiologist and the patient was advised to seek medical care.

validation

The accuracy of the vital parameters measured by the Frontier X has been validated by testing against the standard of care devices for each of the following parameters:

Frontier X

SEER1000 Holter Monitor

Arrhythmia Classification

Simultaneous recordings of Frontier X and a 12 Lead ECG Stress test are attached, which demonstrate that the ECG acquired on Frontier X closely resembles the morphology of the ECG acquired on Lead V5 of the 12-Lead ECG and that all arrhythmias identifiable on Leads II and V5 of the 12-Lead ECG can also be identified on the ECG recorded on the Frontier X.

Heart Rate

Performance of the Frontier X measurements of heart rate was evaluated in a sample of nineteen healthy volunteers, comparing RRI (R-R Interval) measurements by the Frontier X against RRI obtained from a single lead on the GE SEER 1000 Holter monitor resulted in a mean error of 0.04±1.5 (ms) and a mean absolute error of 1.10±1.11 (ms).

Breathing Rate

Performance of the Frontier X measurements of breathing rate was evaluated in a sample of nineteen healthy volunteers, by comparing average breathing rate measurements by the Frontier X against 20 second average of breath-to breath measurements of respiratory rate obtained from the Cortex Metalyzer 3B CPET device resulted in a mean error of 3.03±1.43 (breaths per minute).

ST-Segment Deviation

Performance of the Frontier X measurements of ST-segment was evaluated in a sample of nineteen healthy volunteers, by comparing ST-segment measurements by the Frontier X against RRI obtained from a Lead CC5 on the GE SEER 1000 Holter monitor. This comparison study resulted in a mean error of 0.031 ±0.043 (mV) with a mean absolute error of 0.041 ±0.033 (mV).

Corrected QT Interval

Performance of the Frontier X measurements of QTc interval was evaluated in a sample of twenty-two healthy volunteers, by comparing QTc measurements by the Frontier X against a 3-Lead GE SEER 1000 Holter Monitor. This resulted in an error of 12.17 ± 8.25 (ms) compared to Lead 1, 11.78 ± 7.56 (ms) compared to Lead CM5, and 10.8 ± 7.69 (ms) compared to Lead CC5. Pearson's correlation coefficients for the Frontier X in relation to Leads 1, CM5 and CC5 were 0.84, 0.89 and 0.92 respectively .
