Unlike a regular heart rate monitor, which typically only transmits heart rate, the Frontier X2 records, stores, and uses ECG (during both exercise and rest) to calculate your Heart Rate, Strain, Breathing Rate, as well as biomechanical parameters like Cadence (step rate) and Body Shock.
